SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph—'ficss Association. Hamilton, January 29. Francis William Carter, who had been employed as an hotel porter at Raglan, was found at Hamilton East on .Sunday afternoon apparently suffcrint; from a fit. lib was taken to a boardilighouse and recovered, but later was again found on the street with an attack, and was taken to hospital, where he died suddenly this morning. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. Dargaviile, Januarv 29. Mrs. Wilhclmina Rebecca Rasmussen, 59. years, a highly-respected resident of the community and relict of Carl Jorgen Rasmussen. who for many years was a licensed victualler in the Whangarei and Hobson Counties, was found lying dead on her bed this afternoon. She complained during the afternoon of being unwell, and at 5 o'clock was discovered dead. Her, medical attendant certifies to heart failure being the cause of death. The late Mrs. Rasmussen was proprietress of the Belmont Boardinghouse. She leaves six sons (two of whom are at the front) and one daughter.
