DANNEVIRKE SHOW
Indications point lo this .year's Danncvirke Show being one of the best in the history of the society, very gratifying entries having been so far received. Those who intend exhibiting, and have not yet forwarded their entries to Mr. K C. Sfcnbbs, the secretary, should bear in mind that they should forward particulars by Wednesday, January 30, if they wish to avoid the late entry penalty. This year's schedule—as has already, been intimated—is <n the progressive lines of previous years, with- attractive additions in many of the classes—cattle, dogs, and pigs particularly. The usual jumping competitions are included, also a sheep dog trial, and there is every reason t-o anticipate record entries. The customary liberality has been displayed in the endowment of the prize list, comprehensive arrangements made for reception and comfort of live stock exhibits, including an abundant supply of green feed, and nothing that enterprise and foresight can accomplish will bo left undone. Fears regarding accommodation need keep none away. This matter is well in hand, and no difficulty is anticipated in this connection.
