S to 13s. 6d. Cattle: Small woaners, 325.; 15K month heifers, £4; 15-month steers, £6 s 45.; store cows, £4 3b. 6d. I Messrs. There was a very a fair demand for better class of weaners, '! but bad colour. and low condition sorts I were neglected. Quotations:— Cull weanI era, 155., 215., 225., 265.; medium weaner j heifers, J6s., 385., £2 55.; medium weaner i steers, £2 10s. to £2 145.; very fair weaI uer steers, £3 to £3 10s.; best mixed weai ners, .€4 to £4 18s.; 15-month heifers, £4; i 15-month rough steers, £5 10s., £6, £6 Is., i to £6 12s. 6d.; store cows, £6 15s.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday we had a fair yarding of both sheep and oattlo. There was a slightly better inquiry for sheep, cattle selling at recent prices. Quotations:—P.M. ewes, 225. 6d.; aged ewes, 10s. Gd. to 12s. 6d.; 15-month heifers, £3, £3 Mβ.; 2-year Jersey steers, £7 63.; aged store cows, £3, £5: fat cows. £9 10s. vo £12 12s. 6d.; Rood heifers, in milk, £12; 2-year B.H. bull, £15.
