COUNTER-REVOLUTION IN RUSSIA CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE ■BOLSHEVIK GOVERNMENT THE CAMBRAI REVERSE SIR DOUGLAS HAIG CRITICISED A report by way of Petrograd that revolution has broken out in Vienna lacks confirmation, but it is stated that in Washington the news is widely credited, as the State Department has been receiving, daily reports that the Austrian situation is growing more critical. It is believed that Austria is becoming another Russia. The Austrian Government is resolutely resisting the Czechoslovak demand for Home Rule. At a stormy sitting of the Reichsrath the Premier declared that he had the Emperor's authority to state that every Austrian Government would resist by every means in its power ' an-attempt to establish Home Rule in Bohemia.
