ATTEMPTED MURDER
YOUNG WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, January' 25. Catherine Milne, aged 25, pleaded guilty at.Court to-day when charged with the attempted murder of Fidelis May Barron, aged 3J years, and attempted suicide. The evidence showed that accused dissolved some antiseptic pills and administered the solution lo tho girl, and then took some herself. She then gave the alarm, and assistance was quickly at hand, and both recovered. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
