MASTERTON SHOW
The annual show i of tho Masterton A. and P. Association will be held on the Solway Showgrounds, nenr Masterton, on February 19 and 20. There are mar-y special features in connection with this year's. show, and there has been an all-round increase in tho prize-money. Prospective exhibitors would do well to carefully study this year's schedule, which sets out these special features. Thero are extensive and comprehensive additional classes in, the produce and home industries section, while in tho cookery classes there arc valuable prizes to compete for. The ring competitions include several jumping and trotting events, among which may bo. mentioned the champion jump. ■ trial, which was such a success last year, is again in the schedule. Thore are also numerous competitions for lady riders, as well as men, boys and girls, Entries will close with' tho secretary (Mr. <T. B. Emmett, Box 40, Masterton), on February 4, 1918, at 9 p.m. Tho animal ram and ewo fair will bo held on February 21 and 22, entries for which will close on Monday, February 4.
