Washington, January 22. Mr. Daniels, Secretary for the Navy, has asked Congress to double the personnel of the navy, and also to piovido for three times the number of naval flying men.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. CHARTER OF DUTCH SHIPS. Washington, January 22. It is announced that Holland has agreed to charter to tlio United States 180 Dutch ships now held up in American ports.—Aus.-N.Z.
