AMERICA PROTESTS TO CHINA
OVER THE TORPEDOING OF A GUNBOAT. (Rec January 23, 5 p.m.) Washington, January 22 It is officially announced that the Government will protest against the action of the Chinese in torpedoing the United States gunboat Monarcacy on the Yangse River.
