The manager of the Sylvia Reefs, Ltd., reports as under for the week to January 19:—"The drive on ihe reef, north of the main orosscut. was advanced SO faet. The reef is Bmaller, <.nd a fail' iiw.unt of water is coming out of the fouLvall. One stope is going on the reef; in the south end the quartz is two feet wide and fairly well mineralised. One Btope is in progress on the H.W. reef: the reef is small, but heavily mineralised. Vftyeight tons of concentrates treated at Cockle Creek hare yielded a net return of £3205."
