At a meeting of the Farmers' Union at To Karaka on Friday, during a c'iscussion on the eradication of foxglove, a member mentioned an interesting fact that this weed was growing on a portion of the Lome estate many years ago on a face which was covered with short manuka and other rough growth. Although never cut ; the foxglove had now disappeared entirely from the spot.
