"THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST"
Sir,—l am not much of a student,but I read tho book of Revelations sometimes, and the last verse of the 14th chapter says the number of the beast that is causing all'the trouble is the number of a man, and his number is 666. Number each letter of tha alphabet and it works out as follow:That (49) beast (47) is (20) King, (41) William (79) the (33) Second (60) of (21) Prussia (103) and (19) Emperor 90) of (21) Germany (83). Total, 666. Now look at the last verse of the Htli chapter and read: "Blood came out of the wine press, evon unto the bridles, by the space 1600 furlongs. Translate 'furlongs into days, and we will have peace about December 22 tins I year (in Berlin). "They that be for vs Vre more than they that be against us."-I am, etc.,
