Our a.croplan'es, in spite of bad weather, last night bombed the large railway equipment at Bensdorf, thirty milea south-east of Mctz, and also the railway south of Metz. The Berne correspondent of tho "Daily News" supplies details of the recent air raid on Karlsruhe. At least ten machines were counted, aud bombs rained down for several minutes. Firemen mastered the fires. Several British and French officers were killed among tho many hostages which the authorities had "assembled in Karlsruhe, file utmost indignation prevails among the population.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
