POSTAL ROBBERIES
MAILBAGS RIFLED IN TRANSIT. . Sydney, January 19. Mysterious postal robberies, similar to those that occurred in March last, continue to Lβ reported. The latest theft is of a registered mailbog, containing notes to tho value of £1600, the property of tho Bank of New South Wales, which disappeared between Sydney and Brewarrina, in spito of the special vigilance of the authorities, who are completely baffled.—Press .Assn. . y NEW SOUTH WALES FLOUR BIG ORDER BY THE IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT. Sydney, January 19. The British Government has ordered 43,000 tons of flour from local firms, delivery to be made in June, at the price of £10 18s. 6d. per ton.—Press Assn.
