THE YARMOUTH RAID
GERMAN VERSION AND BRITISH COMMENT. (Rec. January 18, 10.50 p.m.) London, January 17. A German official report states: "Our light forces raided the southern pars of the North Sea on the night of January 15. They advanced north from the Thames mouth and bombarded a port and establishments, firing over tlireri hundred shots." The British Admiralty v comments: "Tho bombardment of Yarmouth lasted live minutes only. Fifty shells were fired. No other port was bombarded." Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter.
