(Rec. January 17, 9 p.m.)' Rome, January 17. During the week ended January 12 294 ships arrived and 209 'departed. Two steamers over 1500 tons were sunk and one steamer and one bailing ship were un successful! v attacked.—Ans.N.Z. Cable Assn.-fteuter. [Last week's losses were two steamers over 1500 tons and one sailer under ICO tons. One steamer was unsuccessfully attacked.]
