U-BOATS OFF CANARY ISLANDS
DUTCH STEAMER SUNK. (Reo. January 16, 7.15 p.m.) Madrid, January 15. The Dutch steamer Atlas de Royal has been torpedoed near Port Cabraa, in tho Canary Islands. Twenty-nine of the crew wcro saved. Twenty sailors are missing from the steamer Joaquim Muinbru, which lias arrived at Las Palmas.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn.
