GOOD WORK BY THE BRITISH BATTERIES
(Bee. January 14, 8.5 p.m) London, January 13. An Italian official report states: "Our artillery is active on the Asiago Plateau, eastward of Piave Vecchia.' The British batteries secured mai'y direct hits on the hostile emplacements on the left bank of the "Piave."—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.-Iteuter.
