On Saturday morning the day looked anything but promising for an afternoon's rifle shooting, consequently some of the fine-weather shots were nervous about venturing out. There were some "sports," however, who were too enthusiastic to allow a little moisture to damp their ardour, and these had the satisfaction of a line r-f----ternoon and a very enjoyablo match. Members of tho Karori and Old Navals' Club picked a combined team and fired a match with the Suburbs Club. Other memhers indulged in a practice match.
