There was ,a Very largo gathering of Pruids from all tho Wellington and suburban lodges and visitors from other parts. ,Tho Grand Vice-President of tho Order, Bro. R.' P. Flanagan, was in attendance, and w.as asked by the Royal Arch Chaptpr to .make the presentation. lie complimented Coronation Lodge on its very _ able ritual -work, which had been noticeable evor since the inception' of the lodge 15 years ago. Ho also complimented the Royal Arch Chapter on the good workdono by it in the interests of the various lodges in the district, and commended "the chapter's work to the notice of all tiro lodges benefiting by its influence; He himself intended taking an increased interest in such work in future. As a result of Bro. Flanagan's speech it is expected that increased in- • tercst and sympathy in tho work of tho chapter will be shown. R.A.D. Bro. A. .T. Norris and the retiring-Royal Arch Sccrotary. also addressed the gathering, and tho newlv-olectcd 11 ova 1 Arch Secretary, P.D.P. Bro. T. G. Sarjeant, who was tlte promoter nnd first Arch Druid of Coronation .Lodge, expressed pleasure at tho continued succcss of the lodge, and honed that Coronation Lodgo would not allow the shield to be wrested from it. j
