CHURCH SCHOOLS.
Sir,—There is not much more of public interest to be written in connection with Mr. J. D. M'Naughton's and my own literary altercation. Will you be good enough, however, to chronicle my glad acceptance of his now clear disseverance from secularist principles, a matter that I think he should have attended to when the deliveranco was under discussion at the institute meeting, if he did not approve of it. Nor will the public bo interested to know that an cider of the Presbyterian Church had a grievance against some ministers, and that for redress that elder went to the wrong church court, and was told to go next door. Thanking you for your courtesy and Mr. . M'Naughton for expressions of good will, heartily reciprocated.—l am, etc., JAMES M'CAW. Lower liutt, January 10, 1918.
