The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association. Ltd., Stock Department, report having held their weekly sale ill tho Colombo Uoad yards at Masli'iton yesterday, when they submitted a good cutry of sheep and a Email one of cattle- to a large attendance. Bidding at auction was not/particularly keen, but we were successful in , disposing of the bulk of our yarding at the following prices-.—Fat ewe* 27b. 9d. to 28b.; Rtore ewes, 255.; 2-looth wethers (low condition), 17b. 6d. to 19s. <kl.; lamte, 15s. 9t1. ; 15-months steers (bad colours), £2 53, Messrs. Wright. Stepnenson iand Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly ealo iu the Colonibo Road yards on Wedncaday, wheu they- ottered a medium yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle to a fair attendance of farmers. The yarding of sheep consisted principally of store ewca and blackface lambs. We effected-sales of fat and forward ewes up to 263., and b.f. lambs at from 14s. .6d. to 17e. 6d., while ewes in low condition were unsaleable. In cattle we sold 15-months good coloured steers and heifers at £8 35.. and Holeteiu bulls at; from £5 3s. to £9 2s. 6d.
