CURRENCY PROBLEMS
COMMITTEE APPOINTED TO .CONSIDER THEM. (Rec. January 10, 8.10 p.m.) London, January 9. An official of the. Treasury\and the Minister for Reconstruction (Dr Addison) Jiave appointed a committee of thirteen to consider problems in connection with the currency and foreign exchange during tho period of reconstruction, and report on the steps required to restore normal conditions. Lord Cunliffe (chairman), Lord Inchcape, Mr. Jeans, of tho Bank of Aus'tralasia, and Sir Charles Addis, of the Hong-Kong Shanghai Bank, are mem-bers.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reutor.
