(Rec. January 9, 10.45 p.m.) London, January 8/ There are pitiful scenes of mourning at Waterford, two Irish vessels which left that port having been sunk by submarines without leaving a trace. A portion of the wreckage of a lireboat has been-waSlfed:ashorG. Not a member of the two crews is alive to tell the tale—Aius.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
