DECLINE TO ACCEPT ANY MAN
POWER PROPOSALS. (Rec. January 9, 10.45 p.m.)

A national conference of shop stewards at Manchester, representing the engineers and shipbuilding workers, declined to accept anv agreement as to man power proposals that may be reached at the trade -unions and Government conference. It demanded that tho Government should accept the Russian invitation to discuss peace. —Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn.
