The Gazette contains the names of recipients of various grades of the Order of- the Britisti Empire for war Rervices, headed by the I)am6 Grand Cross conferred upon Queen Alexandra. Soven Knights Grand Cross includb Sir Arthur Lee, Director of Food Production.

Five Dames Grand Cross include Viscountess Northcliffe.

Sixty-eight Knights Commander include Mr. .Roderick Jones, managing director of Reuters.

Commanders includo Colonel G. J: Smith, of the Now Zealand Forces.

Officers of the Order include the Rev. A. Macdouald, of New Zealand, Chaplain-Major (of Auckland); Captain T. M'Kibbin, N.Z.M.C. Expeditionary Force; Captain F. M'Pherson, of New Zealand, in command at the depot; Major J. T. Watson, New Zealand, embarkation officer.
