Mails for United Kingdom, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be dispatched from time to time by best route without special notiUcation. - >'
Correspondence ■ for all neutral countries is subject to censorship. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of closing of mails. i The parcel post mail for the south, per ferry steamer, closes at 5.45 p.m. The advertised time for closing/ n,Blls by steamers are liable to alteration {earlier or later) at any inomont.
The public are earnestly requested fo register all letters containing money or valuables intended, to be sent- by post. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes. Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parccis post packages must be handed in and money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. A. P. DRYDIW, Chief Postmaster.
