THE WATERSIDEBS , CLUB. The- Wellington Watcrsiders' Club 1917 season, which has been a very active one, concluded with a handicap tourney open to the Class A players only. There were originally 18 competitors, which number was reduced to 17 through the removal of tho club champion (Mr. 0. lirickson; to Westport. Each competitor had to play b'l games, it being a four-round touruey. The baudicappcrs (Messrs. Burgess, Connor, and Kent) wore very successful in bringing about a close finish for the thv.eo prizes, which were •won as follow: —Tho first prize was won by E. Butler, the second by J. Burgess, and three players tied for the third prize, via., W. Oor.nor, J. Grant, and J. Kent. Tho scores of those who aggregated over 41) points are as follow: — E. Butler, 44—9—53; J. Burgsss, 47—5—52; W. Connor, 431—7~50j; J. Grant, 4L}-9—soJ■; J. Kent, 33}— 17_uO}; J. A. Green, 34—Jβ—60; J. Casey, 32}—17—49 J; W. A. Koborts, 33_]G-49; w .
