THE DEMANDS OF LABOUR. London, January 3. The Labour report on reconstruction after tho war includes the following demands: —A minimum wago of 30a.; a forty-eight hours week; a capital levy to pay off tho National Debt: an outlay of 300 millions upon a million new cottagos for workers; the progressive elimination of private capital; tho State to be heir to all private riches except a quite moderate amount for the family of tho deceased; no protective tariff; and Homo Rule throughout the Empire.—Aus.-N.Z.
