It is now definitely announced that peace negotiations have collapsed, Russia refusing to consent to the conditions which Germany sought to impose. 'British airmen are actively raiding behind tho enemy lines in. Flanders, ■ but otherwise there is little news from the' Western theatre, or from Italy. The latest return of British shipping losses shows a considerable increase.
