NEWLY-BORN INFANT FOUND DEAD

By Telegraph—Press Association. . . Auokland, January 4. The body of a newly-born infant was found' dead on Thursday. Giving evidence at the inquest, Dr. Stride said that ho had been called to attend Elsie Murray, a single woman, and found that she had given birth to a child. The body was found_ in an outhouse. In his opinion the child had lived, and death was due to lack of attention. The inquest was adjourned.
