MINE WASHED ASHORE
EXPLODES WHILE BEING SALVED, KILLING SEVEN MEN. London, January 2. A mine was washed ashore at l'egwoll Bay, near Ramsgate. A number of men tried to drag it out of the water, when it exploded, killing seven men and injuring twenty-four —Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn.
