SYDNEY'S NEW BUILDINGS
5101 COMPLETED LAST YEAR. (Rec. January 3, 9.45 p.m.) Sydney, January 3. During the past year the new buildings completed in the metropolitan arc 3 numbered 5401, and their cost was £3,596,000, compared with 6283 buildings and an expenditure of £4,479,000 in the previous year. The figures show a decline of 50 per cent, since 1913.—Press Assn.
