A Spanish steamer has brought part ! of the- crew of. the v , Japanese,,steamer | Mayori Maru, .which..ps "Submarined j off Spain on October 20j'"en route from I Kobe to Marseilles with a of ' j rice. Two submarines shelled tho Mayori Maru, and killed a fireman. The crew of forty escaped, and_ thesteamer sank. The crow was picke'l j up by a French transport ani taken ; to Dakar—Ausi-N.Z.
