Miss Edith Whitelaw, ol Auckland, is visiting her sister, Mrs. J. 1). Gray, at Roua Bay. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Fulton, cf Wellington, are visiting Christchurch at present. Mrs. F. Bwuichamp I'latts (Wcllingtn:it. by her sister", Mrs. f'nrdv (Wanganui) and Mrs. IVrrett (Auckland), have roiio to Port Chalmers" to spend Christmas in their old home. The matron of tlw Home fcr the Aged Needy (Miss Mnckay) desires to acknowledge with thanks the rcceirit of a quantity of lwfnl articles ■■:f clothing from Mrs. Shirer, St. James's Manse, 'Wellington South; Miss Rowley, Kelburn; and Mrs. Holmes, Portland Crescent! also Christmas cakes from Mrs. L.
