CANTERBURY V. OTAGO. By Telegraph-Press Association. Ghristchuroh, Decomber 5. The cricket match between Canterbury and Otago was commenced to-day in beautiful weather, and on an easy wicket. Otago starred badly, two wickets going at 15. Brinsley and Patrick advanced the score to GO, and then Patrick and Holden ■.•arried it to 112, Patrick batting magnificently.
