The "Students' Magazine," tl:e annual school chronicle of the Sacred Heart College, Auckland, is this year particularlv well got up. It is very profusely illustrated, containing pic. lures of the college and the pounds, groups of students and athletic teams, and photographs of old boys at the front and of those who have uade the supreme sacrifice. The magazine eon. tains a sketch of the life of the Rev. Joseph Mareelliu Cliampagnat, founder of the Marist Brothers, biographical notes of the pioneers of tlio oider m New Zealand, and an article by the Rev. Brother Basil on the centenary of the Marist Brothers. An mterestiii" feature in headed "Onr Past," ant) consists of chatty paragraphs annut old boys of tho college. Many nages, of course, aro given up to the athletic iecords of th« college, while the class records should be of particular i> tcvest to the pupils' parents.
