BOYS' INSTITUTE
On Friday evening last the Boys' Institute held their annual concert and distribution of prizes. Mr. G. A. Troup, the chairman, pointed out that the year had been tlie most successful in the history of the institute, and that tho numbers were continually increasing, with the result that the institute now has over 650 members. It could honestly be said that almost every boy had beon taught something, and if not he had benefited by the fact that night after night he was coming in contact with boys who were endeavouring to livo up to their highest, and he was under tho best supervision. The following artists then contributed items :— Miss M'Keon, pianist; Miss M'liieniey, humorist; Miss D. Clark, soprano; Miss M. Clark, soprano; Mr. S. Peek, humorist; Mr. C.
