The Wairarapa Lady Liverpool Committee has decided to supplement the Christmas dinner which will bo provided for the five hundred men remaining in the Featherston Camp. A resolution was proposed r.t the meetinf of tho Masterton Borough Council on Tuesday evening that the council will'not appeal for exemption from military service or extension of time for any of its employees drawn in tlio ballot. Tho motion did not nnd a seconder. Considerable quantities of benzine are reported to be stored in Masterton by private individuals, but tho Borough Council has no by-law dealing with tho matter.
