EXEMPTING CLERGYMEN

At the Military Service Board the chairman stated as the result of a conference of Military Service Boards, it has been agreed that all clerygmen recognised as belonging to established denominations were to bo exempted. The conference, it is under' stood, did not definitely decide, in regard to theological students, who would be treated as hitherto. ( The appoalß of a large number ot clergy and Marist- Brothers were adjourned sine die.
