THE PROHIBITION ISSUE IN AMERICA
COMMENT ON THE CONGRESS RESOLUTION.
New York, December 18. B is now stated that three-fourths not two-thirds, of the States mußt ratify prohibition within seven years. If twelve more States adopt it, the chance will become effective. The New York "World" describes the processes "Proiuoition by Prussian methods. The Senate, which adopted prohibition last year, has concurred with the resolutions of the House—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
