HOLIDAY ARBANCEMENTB. On Monday, Dooembor, 24, correspondence addreesed to streets in the city and suburbs will be delivered from the lettercarriors' department (entrance upstairs from Featheraton Street an the Chief Post Offlce) from 8 to 9 p.m., also the nubile delivery oonnter will be open for delivery of correspondence addressed to tho Chief Post Office from 8 to 9 p.m. The parcel delivery counter will bo open from 8 to S P On Tuesday. December 25 (Christmas Day) the Postal Department will bo closed in all its branches. Mails for dispatch by steamers sailing on Christinas Day w«l close at 8 p.m. on the previous Monday. Tho only dispatches of mails by trams on Christmas Day will close us follow:-Ior Wairarapa. Hawke's Bay. Jfanftwatu.lfangitikei. Wanganui. and Tai-anp.ki districts at 6.30 a.m., for Auckland and Auckland district at 8 a.m. The city and suburban receivers will not bo cleared tlurlnir the day. but the midnight clearances will be mado as unnal. On Wednesday, December 26 (Ttalms Day), the Chief Post Office will be open in all its branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) from 9 to 10 a.m. Mails for dienatch by stoamcre will close at 8 a.m, and the only dispatches of mails by traine will close as follow:-Fot Wairarapa, Hawke'e Bay, Manawatii, Kansitikri, Wnnganui. and Teranaki dintriots at 6.30 a.m.,ifor Auckanfl and Auckland district at. 8 a.m. There will be one delivery by letter-carrier* in tho city and suburbs for which correspondence must be posted at the Chief Post Office by 7 n.ui. The only dispatches of mails by trains on New Year's Day ijlll close as follow :-For Wairarapa. Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, Rangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 6.30 a.m.: for Auckland and Auckland district, at 8 a.m. The city and suburban receivers will not be cleared durine the day. but the midnight clearances will be made as usual.
