It was suggested by. Mr. J. Allen, at the meeting of the AucldandeA. and P Association, following on his contention that it did not pay to fatten bullocks after they were two years eld, that at tho show classes should be provided respectively for two veal calves and one veal calf, for two yearlings and one yearling, and for two two-year-olds and one two-year-o d. The point was noted for.the consideration of Jio executive committee. The Hawke'e Bay A. and P. Association Autumn Show is to bo held at Hastings on March 6.
