INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the Wellington Industrial Association was held last night. Mr F. J. Evans presided. The report of the sub-committee set up at a previous mooting to consider means of consolidating the financial position of the association -was presented The report was to the effect that this could, bo done only by the increase of membership. It was decided to •adopt tlio report, and to forward a circular letter to business mon, setting forth the aims of the association, and requesting that they become members. The action of the secretary in forwarding n letter of condolence to the widow of the lato Mr. A. S. Hiss was approved.
