Albert Woods, aged ten* years, while endeavouring to head off horses from a road to a paddock at Mycross, was kicked in tho region of the" heart, and died in twenty minutes. CHILD DEOWNED IN MANAWATU RIVER. Foxton, December 17. A half-caste child named Tiki Taylor, aged 10 years, slipped into the Manawatu River while drawing water and was drowned. At the inquest this afternoon a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned.
