HIS MAJESTY'S VETERANS
A meeting of the representatives from the several Veterans' and Returned Soldiers' Associations was held at tho National Reserve offices to consider tho resolution passed by His Majesty's Veterans' Association of New Zealand at their last annual meeting to federate the veterans under one Dominion designation, viz., "The Federated Association of His Majesty's Veterans of Now Zealand." The representatives present wero Colonel Porter, C.8., Lt.-Col. Hughes, C.M.G., U.-C'ol. M'lntosh, Major Tregear, J. 5.0., Captain • Humphries, Captain Henry, Veteran Arden, Mr. Harper, president U.S. Association, and Mr. Seymour, general secretary R.S. Association. The proposed federation is to associate under one code constitution and rules, to embrace: (1) Naval and 'Army war veterans; (2) Mnori War veterans: (3) South African War veterans; (4) tho Great War veterans. The aims and advantages in federating were fully and carefully discussed, and it was finally resolved, on the proposal of the Returned Soldiers' president, that "Colonel Porter and Lieut.-Col-onel Hughes and Major Tregear be asked to gather all the necessary information with a view to the organisation of His Majesty's Veterans' 'Pederatio'i." The inf/irmntion is to te senE by circular to all the organisations concerned with a request to send delegates to a conference to be held on a date to bo hereafter arranged. The vico-president of His Majesty's Veterans' Association of New Zealand prodded.
