IN CRITICAL CONDITION OWINQ TO HIGH PRICES.
London, December 14.
The meat trado is in a critical condition. Tho butchers ore keenly competing, and there arc- insufficient cattle. Fat bullocks are realising £90, which is £20 abovo tho value under the fixed prices for dead moat. Tho butchers threaten to close their shops unless prices are fisod for live stock.—Aus.--N.Z.
