FLAXMILLS MAY CLOSE TO PROVIDE LABOUR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Palmerston N., December 14. The National Efficiency Board has communicated with the Flasmillers' asking if the ilaxmillers would ba prepared to close the mills should it be necessary to provide labour to harvest the crops. Mr. Alfred S.eifert, president of tho association, replied' that a meeting )>ad not been held, but ho had spoken to several 'millers, who wore prepared to closo down .if necessary, realising the importance of harvesting the crops in good condition.
