The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Asency Co., Ltd... held their periodical sale of tallow and fat yesterday. There was a fair attendance of buyers and good competition. Mixed tallow in casks ised from 35a. to 38s. 6(1. per cwt., and tins and odd packages from 168.-30 355. 6d. Rough fat from 18s. to 20s. per cwt. - Messrs. Levin and Co. report :-\V c held a sale by auction yesterday of tallow. ■We quote: In casks, 355. to 3Bs. 6d.; in tins, etc.. 21s. to 355. 6d. The next sale will bo held in Jannuary, .1918.
