IMPERIAL TRADE
PAPER BY MR. F. M. B. FISHER, (Rec. Docember 13, 8 p.m.) London, December 12. Sir E. Carson presided over a meeting at the Colonial Institute when Mr. F. M. B. Fisher, formerly Now Zealand Minister of Mines and Customs, read a paper on Imperial trade, advocating tho exclusion of aliens from all political privileges. Only British born, Mr. Fisher said, should be permitted to onter tho judiciary, Crown offices, consular services, or the Stock Exchange. Ho urged that a common fixed policy should be used scientifically to develop industry and production.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
