RACE RIOTS IN TEXAS
THIRTEEN NEGRO SOLDIERS HANGED. (Rec. December 13, 0.10 a.m.) New York, December 12. At San Antonio, Texas, thirteen negro soldiers were hanged and fortyone sentenced to imprisonment for life for participation in a riot at Houston, on August 8, in which seventeen peoplo were killed.—Aus.-N.Z.
